If you are Coming to Grecia to house hunt, this is the best place to stay clos to Grecia.

If you live here and expecting visitors and need a short or long term quarters for someone, consider the B&B Garden Grecia in Sta. Gertrudis Norte. The bus stops in front of the house so it is easy to get around by bus or Ronald is available to to take you on tours or to the weekend Farmers market.

The Feria - Farmers market

Grecia is one of the best ferias or farmers markets in Costa Rica.

Every Friday and Saturday you will find locals and expats stocking up on the weeks' provisions and spending a lot of time socializing.

The freshest fruits, vegetables both local and imported, a range of dairy products including yogurts, cheeses, natilla (sour cream), eggs, meat/pork/fish, you name it. 

There is one part where you look for clothes,shoes, tourist art and much more.

Also you can find Theo with his fresh tropical flowers for the best price in Costa Rica 
If you are walking there, you can take a taxi home at the center of the feria they are waiting ready to bring you home to enjoy your fresh food.

The Grecia Feria is located at the bottom of the hill on the road to Sarchi, entrance on the right in front of the hardware store 200 meters before the Maxi Pali and the Grecia Mall.

There are several restaurants in Grecia,we will give you a view we can recommend to you, there are more but you have to try them by yourself we dont have all the same taste.
 
 
Electa Breakfast,lunch and coffee restaurant.
Electa in front of the bus station to San Jose and Alajuela 150 meters North of the Banco National. This is a place where you can have a nice coffee and a good breakfast and meet expats in the morning. William and his daughter Daniella and the whole crew are the best and always have a smile for you, they also remember your name after a view times.
Electa has also a great assortment in Cakes, pastry's, bread and other small food and drinks. 
La Casa de Miguel
La Casa Miguel does have some pretty decent food. Let’s start with the drinks.
There is a small bar area,  where you can order alcoholic drinks like mixed drinks typical bottled beers (Imperial, Bavaria and a few others). 
The menu has a good assortment of different foods. Appetizers range from mozzarella fingers, chifrijo, patacones, chicharron, ceviche, chalupa, french fries... Not bad prices, either.
